Term Three
This term our main focus will be on the 2012 Olympics in London. We will be learning about and following some of the NZ athletes and the events they will be competing in. We will also be learning some interesting information about different countries that will be represented at the Olympics. Hopefully some Northland sports people will come to visit us to tell us about what they have been able to achieve and how they have done it. As well as all of this, we are planning a couple of exciting trips to look at sporting facilities around town. This term promises to be full of fun!

Welcome to Term 2.
This term is all about keeping ourselves safe, healthy and happy. Constable Jasmine is coming into our classroom to help us to learn how to keep ourselves safe at home, at school, and in the community. We will also be visiting Harold the giraffe in the Life Education van to learn about keeping our bodies healthy. We are all very excited about what we will be learning this term. We will post some of the things that we have learnt as we go.

Welcome back to 2012
Kia Ora
2012 has started and it has been very busy already. We are enjoying our time swimming with the swimming instructor who brought life jackets, noodles and boards for us to learn and play with. We are also busy learning about the energy that we can get from the wind, sun and water, and how that is turned into electricity for us to use.
